Culturally specific DV/SA organizations play a critical role in supporting AANHPI and MENA survivors. Their work responds to the specific cultural and linguistic needs of survivors and communities they serve, addressing both immediate needs and the broader conditions that contribute to DV/SA. To better understand the realities facing these organizations, API-GBV conducted national needs assessments in 2023 and 2025 (see the 2023 and 2025 Needs Assessment reports). While each needs assessment offers a snapshot in time, examining the findings across both survey years provides an opportunity to identify areas of consistency and change and consider their implications for the field.
